In conjunction with Millbrook Proving Ground, the UK’s leading motor industry test and development centre, we have developed the Eco-drive program. Our instructors in partnership with Millbrook’s engineers show drivers how to extract the best mpg from their vehicle without sacrificing “the drive”, showing them before and after results gained from the Eco-log data logging equipment installed in the training vehicle.

Most drivers when questioned about Eco-driving believe that to save fuel they must drive slowly, this simply isn’t the case, in fact by driving unnecessarily slowly you can in fact waste the fuel that you we’re trying to save. By installing some simple techniques into their driving style a driver can significantly increase fuel consumption without increasing driving time, in fact in some cases it can be reduced.

The Eco-drive program can be used as an element to enhance a vehicle launch, dealer-training event and vehicle promotion road show or as a training program for fleet drivers.

As corporate fleet managers look for ways to reduce their costs, we can implement the Eco-drive training program across your fleet network, bringing the program to you. This can incorporate an initial training session with printed before and after results for each driver, followed by ongoing assessment and management of mpg league tables to encourage implementation of the techniques in everyday driving.

With new Hybrid and Full Electric vehicles are being launched each month, we’ve been involved in quite a few of them, we’ve noticed that to extract the best mpg figures from this new technology there are some specific driving techniques that can be employed. We have nearly a decade of Hybrid experience from which to draw on, we can pass on that experience as part of an Eco-drive program designed for Hybrid vehicles.
